Palm Heroes v1.04 chengelog :
GRAPHICS:
- new monsters
- new combat backgrounds
- battle animation was introduced

GUI:
- game dialogs are now less annoying. Dialogs that had only one choice now have no OK button. I.e. the whole dialog is the close button now.
- new dialog borders
GAMEPLAY:
- Hero limit is dynamic now: max 3 heroes for Small maps, 4 for Medium, 6 for Large and 8 for XL maps.
- scouting skill was modified - now adv. and expert scouting shows the number of neutral monsters within the radius of 5 squares:
*basic - increases the radius by 4 squares
*advanced - increases the radius by 6 squares + tells the approximate number of enemy troops
*expert - increases the radius by 6 squares + tells the exact number of enemy troops + gives approximate info on hostility of monsters (e.g. 'are likely to ally', 'are hostile', 'in mood for a battle' etc.)
- neutral creature growth has been limited
- you can LOAD or EXIT the game from battle now! (menu accessible from the settings icon)
- the event system has been improved
- experience for retreated heroes (when the enemy hero retreats from battle, you'll receive 1/2 of normal reward experience)
- defeated heroes now loose all stats and abilities and can be re-hired as 1lvl noobs.
- speed of walking units has decreased to give more advantage to shooters
- The Conqueror's Crown now gives necromancers the ability to raise vampires instead of skeletons
- new artifact type that gives bonuses to specific monsters
- autosave can be turned off now.
BUG-FIXES:
-mass attack spells like meteor shower work ok now
-Fortress treasury +1000/day is displayed correctly in Kingdom overview
-fixed revisiting buildings without loosing travel points
-fixed puzzle map crash
-fixed zeroing hero stats in treasuries
-fixed saving during opponent turn
-fixed disappearing artifacts
-fixed crash double-clicking on garrison monsters
-fixed crash fighting monsters on water
LOCALIZATIONS:
- game supports English, Russian, Slovak, German, French, and Czech language. Not all maps have been translated into all languages. For maps missing a localized version, English versions are used. The game offers to choose the language on the first launch. Later, it can be changed from the game settings.
KNOWN ISSUES:
- during the first launch, the game seems to freeze. This is normal behavior - maps in different languages are being cached. After the caching is over, it will never happen again. Caching time depends on the PDA model.
